DELAWARE LEGALIZED GAY MARRIAGE

Delaware  a  state in the us  located in the Atlantic Coast on the  in the Mid-region of the United States  has become the 11th state to legalize gay marriage.

Gov. Jack Markell signed a measure into law Tuesday shortly after the state Senate approved it Tuesday afternoon.
"I think this is the right thing for Delaware," Markell said after the 12-9 Senate vote. "It took an incredible team effort."
Under the law, members of the clergy don't have to perform same-sex marriages if it goes against their beliefs.
However, business owners who refuse to provide services to same-sex couples based on their religious convictions could be sued because of an existing law that bans discrimination based on sexual orientation.
